Zachary’s 18th birthday was on Saturday. That means I am now the parent of two full-fledged adults! Zachary is a unique, intelligent, and entertaining person who continues to grow and make me so proud. Here’s a look back at his year.
June 2024
Zachary started off the year in his favorite, place, Israel, even celebrating his 17th birthday there.
In July, Zachary worked at camp. In August,we had family come to visit.
And then it was back to school for Zachary’s senior year of high school.
In September, we went to NJ for a wedding.
In October, we celebrated lots of holidays. Zachary went apple picking with his friends.
In November, it was off to NJ again for Thanksgiving.
We also celebrated the grandparents’ 60th anniversary. In December, we went to Florida for winter break.
With a cousin
In January, Zachary had a friend come to visit.
In February, Zachary visited Gabbie at school. He became a bit more sure about where he wanted to go to college.
In April, we went to NJ again for Passover. Three times in one year! While we were there, Zachary made his college decision.
In May, we had all the graduation celebrations!
And now we’re back to June. We celebrated Zachary on his birthday by having 15 friends over for lunch! I enjoy the kids’ friends and it was nice to have them over.
