This year, we flew to NJ for Thanksgiving on the day before Thanksgiving itself. The traveling was uneventful. We met Gabbie at Dave’s sister and brother-in-law’s house, where we stayed for the time we were in NJ.
My brother-in-law found kittens in his shed and was raising them before they went to their forever homes. Even though I’m allergic to cats, they were so fun to play with!
On Thanksgiving, we went over to Dave’s other sister and brother-in-law’s house to say hi to them. Gabbie and I watched some of the dog show there. Later on, we all gathered at my in-laws’ house for Thanksgiving dinner.

Toward the end, I went into the room where the kids were and they became very interested in me, climbed all over me, and asked me to read to them. I hate how I look in this picture but I need to remember this!
After dinner, we had to visit the kittens again!
