For today’s Random Friday Things post I have a few things to share including Zachary’s play and Gabbie’s last dance competition.

Zachary was in the play Radium Girls through his high school theater class. He forbade me from taking pictures, so all I have is this! The play is about the women who worked in the factories with radium in the 1920’s and became sick from radium poisoning. It’s a serious subject and the kids performed wonderfully. Zachary had a few different parts, including as a judge, a shop clerk, and more. They all did a great job.

I shared Gabbie’s dance show pictures but I forgot to mention those who came to watch! The little one is her dance teacher’s daughter, who is in a class that Gabbie helps teach. She was very cute watching and cheering for Gabbie!

More cheers for Gabbie – she won photojournalist of the year in her school’s size category!

And she had her last dance competition this weekend. It wasn’t an amazing one as far as placing or location or the other teams that were there, but it was nice to see these fellow dancers together as many of them have really grown up together.
