Who else can’t believe that half the year has passed? Well, being that it’s the middle of the year, I thought I’d share a mid year reading update. Between the beginning of January January and the end of June, I read 140 books.
Here are some of my stats so far this year:
I read the most books in the shortest month – in February I read 28 books.
I generally read 21-22 books per month.
I read the most amount of contemporary fiction, followed by rom coms and thrillers.
I also read a good amount of historical fiction and non fiction.
I read the most books in paperback, followed by hardcover and audio.
I read the majority adult books, and surprisingly I’ve read more middle grade than YA.
84 % of the books I’ve read have been by female authors.
18 % have been by Jewish authors or had Jewish representation.
18% have been backlist books.
For audio books, 54% are from the library.
