Sometimes I wonder whether it’s still worth it to pay for and keep up with my blog. Especially now, when I’ve realized that the Feedly reader, which many of us use for following blogs, has stopped updating my feed. The last new post from me that it recognizes was posted over a month ago. So, for people who use Feedly, it takes an extra step to remember to check my blog for new posts.
Now, my blog RSS feed is working and it is updated on feed readers like Bloglovin’, so I’m at a loss as to why it won’t work on Feedly. I contacted my blog host, whose AI help suggested that certain security plugins interfere with Feedly. I disabled the plugins, but I don’t see any difference. One blog posted that their host was able to update something that allowed Feedly, but my host said my blog is not blocking Feedly.
I have seen others who had the same issue who posted about it on Reddit, and I replied to their posts asking if they fixed the problem, but they are old threads and I haven’t received any feedback from those people.
So, for those of you who are actually seeing this post, should I quit blogging?
