Welcome to the Share Our Lives link up hosted by myself, Adrienne, Jen, Joanne, and Sarah! We are sharing our lives this year on the second Monday of each month, and this month’s prompt is making time for reading. As you know, I read a lot, and sometimes people ask me how I read so much. Well, I think I’m a pretty fast reader. But I also enjoy it, make the time for it, and it’s often all I do.
Here are some ways to make time for reading:
– Be a stay at home mom with your kids in school. (joking, but it works for me)
– Watch less TV and read instead.
– Listen to audio books, especially during times when you’re doing boring household chores or playing mindless games on your phone. Some people listen while commuting as well.
– Have a few spare minutes waiting somewhere? Make sure you have a book with you.
– Read before bed.
– Have a scheduled time when you read each day.
– Don’t read books you don’t like. Get to know what you like and I promise you’ll be finishing books faster!
If you posted about making time for reading, you can link up with us here, and come back next month when we’re sharing how we stay connected to loved ones.
