Happy Wednesday! Today I’m back and joining in for the Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce.
1. What does patriotism mean to you?
Patriotism should mean the love of your country, not to say your country is better than any other country, but to love your country despite it’s less desirable aspects. It shouldn’t have to mean that you support your government necessarily.
2. September-October-November…your favorite fall month? Tell us why. If you live in the southern hemisphere use these months but sub spring for the word fall.
November. It’s not too cold yet, the fall colors are here, and we celebrate my birthday and Thanksgiving.
3. A song you love with the word thanks (or some form of that word) in the title or lyrics?
Strangely I can’t think of any. I googled and there are many that I don’t know!
4. November is National Peanut Butter Month. Are you a fan? What’s the last peanut butter bite you had? Fill in the blank: peanut butter and _____________________ . Oh, and you can’t say jelly.
I didn’t like peanut butter as a kid, but now I like it a lot. I finished the jar we had when I dipped apples in it. I love Reese’s everything, so I’ll go with peanut butter and chocolate!
5. This week’s gratitude question-What event from this past year are you most grateful for?
Probably Zachary’s high school graduation and all the events surrounding it.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
My birthday was on Monday. I didn’t really do anything, besides picking up my free Starbucks coffee, and I took Simon to the dentist. I guess when I scheduled his appointment 6 months ago, I figured it would be fine to bring him on my birthday. When we left, we saw this lovely sunset!

We had a tiny cake too.

Tell me your answer to any of these!
