When you receive your Tieks, they come in this sturdy teal box with a floral elastic around it, making it a pre-wrapped gift. You can have your gift shipped straight to your recipient without having to worry about the packaging. This is great for when you don’t live close enough to your mom to see her on Mother’s Day.
Tieks are foldable and come with a small pouch that can hold the folded shoes, as well as a larger tote bag if you want to bring along a shoe change for an event you are attending or for work. To fold Tieks, you put the toe into the heel. The soles are not connected in the middle for this to work! This also makes Tieks perfect for packing and traveling. I chose Matte Black, but Tieks come in so many colors!

Speaking of the soles, one of my favorite parts of these shoes is the signature teal color. Not only are they my favorite color, they are also rubber and non-skid, making them safe to wear no matter what age your mom is.
Tieks can be worn in so many ways. I have worn mine to synagogue with a dress on, but they also go great with jeans, as you can see here. I have worn them with tights, but you can also wear them without socks or with no-show socks, making them versatile enough for most any outfit. I also found them very comfortable to walk in and they did not irritate my irritable toe.
