For today’s Random Friday post, I wanted to share about some events I attended, some Etsy buys, and I added “etc” because I needed another E word!

The first event I attended was a hot chocolate bar and bracelet beading event at my friend’s house. She did a great job setting it up and I met some new people.

Last Thursday, two favorite authors came back to Kansas – Jean Meltzer and Sara Goodman Confino. I went with two of my friends to their event. I’ve met both of them before and Sara Goodman Confino recognizes me and knows who I am, which is so cool. I was supposed to get a copy of Jean’s new book for her to sign, but they didn’t have it available for me. I already received the book for my birthday but didn’t bring it with me since it wasn’t purchased from the store hosting the event! So I had nothing to get signed. All of my Sara books are already signed. So I got a picture with her instead.

In this month’s Prime post, I forgot to mention that I ordered a planner for next year. I ordered it from Etsy but it actually shipped from Amazon. I just need something simple, but I got a bigger size this time.

I also ordered my niece’s Hanukkah present from Etsy. She wanted a long sleeve Wicked shirt. I had the hardest time finding something long sleeved in youth size! The one I ended up finding said it would ship on time, but the shop messaged and said it wouldn’t arrive till after Christmas – which is also after Hanukkah. So I canceled that order. I had messaged another shop asking if they could put one of their shirts on a youth size and they said they could do a sweatshirt, so I went with that. Here is the original listing:

We’re approaching the end of the semester! Simon has finals next week. I hope they’ll go well for him!
