Happy Wednesday! Today I’m joining in for the Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce.
1. Do you complete your own taxes? Besides actual taxes, what’s something you’ve found taxing lately?
Lucky for me, my husband does our taxes. Something I recently found taxing was packing for our trip. The hard part is that Simon leaves for his school camping trip the day after we get home, so I wanted to have him packed for that too. And he mostly is!
2. What are three values you treasure most in a friendship?
Mutual conversation where listening is as important as talking.
Commitment – when you say you will do something, you don’t cancel every time.
Thoughtfulness. I really appreciated the people who reached out to me when I broke my ankle – and noticed those he didn’t.
3. Do you meal plan or do you mostly wing it? Share your dinner menus for this week.
I need to meal plan more than I do. This week is Passover and we’re not at home.
4. Thomas Sowell is credited as saying, ‘‘There are no solutions, only trade-offs.’ Agree or disagree? Discuss.
I’m not sure I know what that means!
5. What’s the best perk you’ve enjoyed at a job?
I haven’t worked in so long that I don’t remember. If you consider being a bookstagrammer a job, I do get free books!
6. Insert your own random thought here.
This week I’m letting go of worrying about this things I’ll have to take care of when we get back home!
Tell me your answer to any of these!
