Happy Wednesday! Today I’m joining in for the Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce.
1. The Hodgepodge lands on Ash Wednesday, which is the first day of Lent. Do you mark this season in some way? Will you be giving something up or adding something to your life in this Lenten season?
No, this is not part of my tradition.
2. Pancakes…are you a fan? Syrup or no syrup? Plain, blueberries, chocolate chips, bananas, or some other add in? Are pancakes on your menu this week?
Sometimes we make pancakes and we always end up with some burnt and some mushy. When they come out well, sure, I like them. I actually like to eat them with jelly!
3. Tell us about a time recently when you felt ‘spread too thin’.
I feel like I’ve been pretty relaxed lately in terms of not having too much to do. I had to work on things for both of my volunteer roles this week, but I was waiting for information from both of them, so I didn’t have to do everything at once.
4. What’s your favorite jewel or gemstone? In terms of your wardrobe would we find more gem tones, pastels, black and white, or primary colors?
My favorite gemstone is amethyst. I think my wardrobe is mostly black and grey, but I do have t-shirts in many colors. I try to vary them. I think I have more gem tones than pastels.
5. What responsibility do you think is hardest about being in charge?
I don’t like being in charge, I guess I feel like I’ll mess something up or make the wrong decision. Even at preschool, I like someone else to decide when nap time starts and ends, what to eat for snack, etc.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
This week, Zachary is in Poland, learning about Jewish history there. I think this will be very meaningful for him.
Tell me your answer to any of these!
