It’s the end of September, so it’s time to take a look back at this month in review. This month seemed to speed by! Here’s a look back at September.
Daily Life
The boys got back into their routine, with school, work for Zachary, youth group events, etc. I finally got rid of the boot, so I was able to get around easier on my own. I am still in PT for another few weeks now. I am still working on going down stairs and improving my balance.
School
The boys had two days off this month – Labor Day and a teacher’s in-service. For the in-service, we were out of town, and they missed one day for our trip too. They both seem to be doing well.
Gabbie is settling back into college life. We were together for my nephew’s wedding and she told everyone she’s currently majoring in Journalism but is planning to change that. She doesn’t know what she is changing to. Maybe Math, maybe Marketing.
Activities
I will post more about it soon, but our major activity this month was traveling to NJ for my nephew’s wedding. It was a lot of fun. Sneak peak of us at the wedding:
The boys have been busy with youth groups, volunteering, and hanging out with friends!
Health / Fitness
I’m finally getting back to normal with my ankle, but I’m not back to doing any real fitness. And of course I’m struggling with my weight. I’m so tired of being unhappy with how I look. I had my mammogram this month finally (delayed since I couldn’t drive, etc) and all is clear, thankfully!
TV
I found a couple different sites I could use to stream my current favorite show, The Dog House. It is just so wholesome. 9-1-1 Lone Star came back this week, so I watched that, and later this week the rest of the shows I watch will be back too. I missed most of the Chiefs game this week because of the wedding, but we caught the end after we got back to where we stayed that night!
Reading
I have so many books to get through and it’s making me stressed again. I shared the first half of the books I read this month here and will share my favorites of the month on Friday.
Coming Up
The Jewish holidays are late this year – it is unique to make it through all of September without them starting yet! October will be full of them though and my blog schedule will be slightly different due to being offline a bunch with celebrating them!
How was your September?
