Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I’m joining in for Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce.
1. Thursday is National Pi Day…are you good at math? What was the last thing you had to calculate? Did you use your head or technology? Last slice of pie you ate?
Oh, thanks for the reminder. I like to celebrate Pi Day with Pie! I am not good at math. I had to calculate 10% of $50 – not hard, did it in my head. Last time I ate pie…I don’t remember!
2. What makes a house a home?
A dog? Or just your loved ones being there too.
3. Your current favorite green thing?
Haha, see yesterday’s post for a whole list!
4. How do you define achievement? How does your personal definition look similar to, or different than, society’s definition? What’s something you think is worth achieving in life?
Well, I usually will say that my biggest achievement is raising my kids. And since I don’t have a career, for me, achievement is more personal than what society may expect.
5. What song is a good soundtrack for your life right now?
I don’t think I have one! I can’t think of any songs for some reason.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
This weekend I connected with a distant cousin on Dave’s side of the family. I have been keeping a family tree on ancestry and I was able to place where the cousin belongs, but there were some questions as to whether the two original family members were truly brothers – my father-in-law says they were! So the younger generation are 4th cousins, and Zachary found that he has mutual friends with the one close to his age. He was so excited to tell two of his friends that they know his 4th cousin!
Tell me your answer to any of these!
