So far, I’ve been enjoying summer break, and by that I mean Simon’s summer break. There is less to worry about when school is out! Plus I don’t have to take him to and from school.

Since I sometimes feel cold in the house, I have worn my new jeans a bit. On Monday I wore shorts. I cleaned out my t-shirt drawer and found a bunch of shirts I hadn’t worn in a while, so I wore one of those as well.

Like a good book fan who hasn’t actually read the books, I watched the Off Campus series. I liked it a lot! I still have to watch Remarkably Bright Creatures, which is a book I have read and loved. I also noted that Criminal Minds is back on, as is the rest of the season of Brilliant Minds, which cut off suddenly and has already been canceled after this season, but I think I’ll watch it anyway. And the second season of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is out too – another book I’ve read!

I’ve been listening to my backlist reads on audio as they are pretty easy to get from the library. I finished False Witness by Karin Slaughter and now I’m on to While Justice Sleeps by Stacey Abrams.

It seems like I’ve been helping Gabbie furnish her room in her new apartment from afar – I have ordered her a desk and drawers for under her bed. She says her new room is smaller than her previous one in the dorm apartment, and that one came with a dresser and a desk, which her new one doesn’t!
