View PostToday I’m sharing the books on my radar that are coming out in the first half of 2025. These books are on my radar most likely because they are by authors I have loved previously! Since I’ve already posted the January books on my radar, this list begins with books that come out after those, plus two January books I didn’t include in that post. This post contains affiliate links, so if you use them and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission.
View PostWelcome to the Share Our Lives link up hosted by myself, Adrienne, Jen, Joanne, and Sarah! We are sharing our lives this year on the second Monday of each month, and this month’s prompt is saving time on chores. You all know how great I am at chores, right? I’m not sure I have anything to say about this!
View PostToday’s 10 on the 10th topic with Marsha is 10 Things You Want to Remember or Forget about 2024. This topic got me thinking, and while I don’t want to rehash all the bad things that happened in 2024, I have been thinking a lot about letting things go. About taking in the stressful things and then releasing them. About moving forward. So I thought it might be interesting to list all the things I want to leave behind in 2024.
View PostThis year, we left for Florida on December 24. We were meant to take a trip with a stop but we got to the airport super early to switch to the non stop…which was then delayed by like 5 hours. Our tickets were then canceled when we didn’t board the original plane we were supposed to switch to in Atlanta…but they got us back on the still delayed flight. We bonded with the other people on our plane, including a lady who told us her son went to the school my kids go to and then introduced us to someone who is brothers with someone the kids are friendly with, although we never knew this brother existed! So after all of that, we ended up landing in Florida around midnight. We arranged to stay in a hotel that night so we didn’t keep any of our parents awake and waiting for us. So it was a hectic beginning to the trip.
