Over the weekend, my friend (and former babysitter) from my home town came to Kansas on her quest to visit all 50 states. Since she wanted to see something culturally Kansan, we decided to visit the Wizard of Oz Museum in Wamego, KS. I had been there once before, and it is a small museum, but I remembered there being a lot of Oz memorabilia. It seemed there was less to see this time, but it was still a fun visit.

View PostEver since I found out there is a Jim Henson exhibition at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, I have been wanting to visit. The hours didn’t work out for us the past few times we were in NYC, but this time we were able to go! I’ve been obsessed with the Muppets for many years, so this was very exciting for me.
