I haven’t written a random Friday things update in awhile! I usually use them to write about dogs and life updates, so that’s what I have for you today too.

View PostWhen I left off last time, we had spent our first day at a hotel in Jerusalem. I had a wheelchair with me and was fully dependent on my family to get me around. Our first full day at the hotel was Yom Yerushalyim, a day that celebrates the reunification of Jerusalem after the 6 day war. That morning, my family went to a special prayer service at an overlook of the city, and when they got back at 10 am I was still sound asleep!
View PostToday I’m linking up with Marsha for the 10 on the 10th link up. This month she has given us a prompt – 10 Special Summer Memories. I can probably list 10 memories from my childhood day camp – have I ever talked about that here? I loved it there and was thinking how amazing it would have been if it had been a sleepaway camp. It wasn’t, but it was still so much fun.
View PostWelcome to the Share Our Lives link up hosted by myself, Adrienne, Jen, Joanne, and Sarah! We are sharing our lives this year on the second Monday of each month, and this month’s prompt is a day in the life, summer edition. I know everyone loves a good day in the life post, but for one thing, my life is pretty boring, and for another, I decided to stop choosing a specific day to write about after something bad always seemed to happen on whatever day I’d choose! So this is just a run down of what a normal day in my life is like – right now.
View PostToday’s post covers the second half of the books I read in June 2024. I shared what I read in the first half of the month here. I shared my five star reads here. I actually do have two more 5 star reads to share here as well! The Amazon links to the books I’ve read are affiliate links and if you use them and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission. If you’ve read any of these books or are interested in them, I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
