1. How do you define beauty?
Beauty comes from within!
2. Have you ever taken a trip by train? If so where did you go and what did you think of the experience? If not do you have any desire to do so? Where would you like to go? (You might find inspiration here-The Best Train Trips in The World)
I took a train from Anchorage to wherever our cruise started in Alaska. It was fun and really pretty! I have (small) pictures!
Zachary had wanted to go on a train trip but we didn’t do it. I think he wanted to go somewhere in Colorado.
3. Shell shocked, bombshell, bandshell, shellacking, in a nutshell, walking on eggshells…choose one and tell us why you chose it, or how it relates to your life in some way currently.
In a nutshell, it’s the busy Jewish holiday season here!
4. Tacos, pistachios, oysters, clams, eggs…your favorite food on the list that comes in/with a shell?
From this list, either tacos or eggs. I also think of a pie shell!
5. Are birthdays a big deal in your house? Is your own birthday a big deal in some way? Elaborate.
I don’t think they’re a huge deal, but we do celebrate with cake and the birthday person’s choice of a meal!

The first Chiefs game was a big win! I apologize for saying the Chiefs aren’t good anymore. It’s just that last season wasn’t a winning one. This one started well, but we’ll see how it goes!
