This past weekend, I loved seeing Rent again. It brought back all the memories. I used to listen to the soundtrack non stop in college and afterwards!

It was signed by the actor who played Benny. For some reason, I thought he was the original, but he was actually a stand in for the original, who was Taye Diggs!

I did make chicken soup last week, but I don’t cook much usually! When Gabbie was here she made cookies.
[watching / reading]
Gabbie and I watched the newest season of Emily in Paris. At first it was getting too cheesy for me, but I liked it in the end. I just can’t take the back and forth. The newest show I’m watching is Memory of a Killer.
I read a ton in January! I read a lot of my backlist, trying to catch up with the books I received in 2021. Don’t forget the Share Your Shelves link up is tomorrow!

I guess it’s summer planning time because we finally solidified Simon’s summer plans. He’s going on the same trip that Gabbie and Zachary went on that goes to Europe and Israel. Zachary is thinking of working at a sleepaway camp this summer. I am already booking dog care for the summer!
Sad story…a woman who is a friend of a friend reached out to me asking me to watch her dog on a few separate trips she was taking. I had her down for April, so this week I reached back out since I wanted to meet her dog before she went away. I had written down her number and I sent a text, but didn’t hear back. I wondered if I had written it down wrong, so I asked my friend who was this woman’s friend. It turns out the woman recently passed away! Apparently she was traveling with her mom and sister and something happened – I don’t know exactly what. I then remembered she’d actually asked me to watch her dog for that trip too! Since I was away at the same time, I wasn’t able to. But that news was surprising and very sad.

I’m actually not sure. Maybe Ozzie being here? He’s actually pretty easy, except when he sits and stares at me and I don’t know what he wants!
