Today I’m linking up with Marsha for the June 10 on the 10th link up. I’m just a bit late this month, sorry! This month the questions are about weddings! I suppose June is wedding season, after all. I was unique and got married in December!
1. What is the most amazing thing you remember about your wedding?
I remember at the end, when it was just my close friends and family still there, I was overly hyper and happy and standing on a chair for some reason. I make myself laugh.
2. Tell us about your wedding dress
I got my dress at David’s Bridal. I was young and couldn’t spend a lot but I found one there that I liked. It was beaded and lacy and had a lot of tulle, with long sleeves. It took two friends to help me go to the bathroom.
3. Did you include all 3 things (they start with B) at your wedding?
I must admit I’m confused by this – isn’t it four things? And only two start with B? I remember thinking about what I had at my wedding – for old, I used my grandmother’s ring in the ceremony. For new, my dress was new. For borrowed, we rented some things so that counts, right? And for blue, my bridesmaids wore navy.
4. Where was your wedding held?
We had it at a synagogue. The ceremony was in the sanctuary and the party was in their social hall.
5. What is the worst thing you have ever seen at a wedding?
At one wedding I was at, the bride’s mother’s hair caught fire from the candles. I don’t think any damage was done, luckily!
6. Do you think less of a bride who doesn’t wear white?
Definitely not. Modern brides don’t all wear white and any color they want to wear is fine with me.
7. If you got married tomorrow or sometime soon, what would be in your bouquet?
Maybe sunflowers?
8. Have you ever attended a celebrity’s wedding?
No…I don’t know any celebrities! (Unless you count my brother, who used to be on the Weather Channel – haha.)
9. What wedding tradition means the most to you?
We had a traditional Jewish wedding with all the prescribed customs – I appreciate them all!
10. Describe your perfect wedding.
Lots of people who love the couple and lots of good food.
