It’s almost the end of November, so it’s time for a look back. As usual, it feels weird writing a November in Review post before Thanksgiving, but I’ll write a separate recap post for it once it’s over!

We almost returned to routine after the holidays, but the first week of November were conferences, which led to 3 days off of school; the second week the kids went away for the weekend so they were off for 2 days, and now this week they are off 3 days – so that means they were only in school for 12 days total this month. So Simon was at home for a good deal of the month. Other than that, I worked a few days and took care of dogs all month until this week. We also met a dog we’ll be watching after Thanksgiving. We celebrated my birthday and soon will be traveling for Thanksgiving.

I mentioned that conferences went well – now Simon does have a lot of papers to work on. He was doing homework all day this past Sunday and I don’t think he finished. I hope he can keep up.
[activities]
I think this month was quiet in terms of activities. Simon did go to his play tryouts last week.

I’m caught up with all my shows and they are almost all on fall break now. I also watched The Rainmaker and I’m watching Wayward, which is creepy! I was happy the Chiefs finally won a game this Sunday! They play again tomorrow too.
[coming up]
Traveling for Thanksgiving, and then in a few weeks we head back to Florida, and then back to NY for another wedding. Our good friends’ daughter, who is Gabbie’s age, is getting married. I’m supposed to be one of the hosts for her shower too, but I haven’t heard much about what that entails!
