Happy Wednesday! Today I’m joining in for the Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce.
1. What’s worth standing in line for?
I’m not a very patient person and I’ve actually left stores (cough cough Homegoods) if the line is too long! But I suppose I’d wait on line to go on a ride, or to see an attraction, or to order ice cream…if I had to.
2. Tell us about a favorite food related memory.
I’m not sure what to say here! I’m thinking of some of my favorites – getting ice cream, eating BBQ in Florida, my brother-in-law’s restaurant??
3. What are some things you find particularly peaceful or calming?
The sound of a rainstorm, the ocean, playing Cross-Stitch World…
4. Is there something you do now that gets you just as excited as it did when you were a child?
I remember being very excited for summer as a child. It’s definitely less exciting now. I suppose I am equally excited for vacations as I was as a child.
5. To what degree are you in touch with friends from grade school? high school? college if you attended college?
I went to grade school and high school with most of the same people and I am really only in touch with them through Facebook. I really enjoy when I see pictures of their children and think that they look just like their parents did when they were kids. As far as college, I am in touch with my good friends!
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Well, summer is officially over, as today is Simon’s first day of school. Zachary is returning from his 10 day trip and will need to begin packing for the year. Gabbie is on the way back to school – she is driving with a friend. Hopefully I’ll have an end of summer post up on Friday!
Tell me your answer to any of these!
