We finished out summer break with lots of activities and fun things, so I thought I’d share them all here today.

A little while ago, my friend told me that the author duo Ali Brady would be in Kansas City. She wasn’t sure if she could go, but I signed up right away! As it turned out, my friend could come, and we had a fun time meeting them and listening to their talk.
When I was dropping my friend off, we saw this huge hawk.

We went to a Royals game – and they won!

For Simon’s birthday, he wanted to go Go-Karting. (He also wanted to go to Worlds of Fun, but I didn’t want to take him there again!) He had a fun time taking part in three go-kart races.

Gabbie’s friend came to stay and then we said goodbye as they began their road trip back to school.

Gabbie is with family this weekend, and then they’ll head up to MA.
