Over the weekend, my friend (and former babysitter) from my home town came to Kansas on her quest to visit all 50 states. Since she wanted to see something culturally Kansan, we decided to visit the Wizard of Oz Museum in Wamego, KS. I had been there once before, and it is a small museum, but I remembered there being a lot of Oz memorabilia. It seemed there was less to see this time, but it was still a fun visit.
The building is so cute.
Across from the building is a little path marked as the Yellow Brick Road, with some murals and other things on it, so we walked that way first.
There are decorated Totos around the area.
Inside the museum:
Very happy they still had the Muppets!

It was a fun little visit for us!
