The Prime Purchases link up is hosted by Andrea and Jill and I’m excited to link up and share what I purchased in June 2025. It was a busy month of orders, with Prime sales and the guys going on their bike trip! 1. Bedding for Zachary – For his year abroad, Zachary wanted the same bedding he has at home. I ordered him the sheets, and then we both realized he might actually need twin xl rather than twin sheets. I put in a return for these, but they said to keep them, so now he’ll have regular twin and the xl ones I also ordered. The beds are actually European Twin, so he’ll have to see which fits better (and he’ll have the xl set for college too). Plus, we ordered this blanket.
2. Tents – two of these tents were purchased, while a third was borrowed. (The biking trip also included camping.)
3. Over The Door Hooks – Zachary asked for these hooks (which Gabbie has as well) for hanging towels and toiletry bags while showering.
4. Bike Tire Repair and Tool Kit – in case of bikes in need of repair while biking across Iowa.
5. Bike Handlebar Bag – another bike trip purchase!
6. Sunscreen – we should all use it more often, but this was for the bike trip!
7. Satin Pillowcases – This was a Prime Week sale. We had just gotten new sheets (from Costco) and I decided my pillowcases should match. For some reason the pillowcase I’d been using was brown. I like the grey better!
8. Packing Cubes – another Prime Week sale. My kids stole my good packing cubes and the set I’ve been using isn’t great. So I will use these the next time I travel!
9. Portable Charger – for Simon for the bike trip. Attached wires are a necessity!
10. Highlighters – Zachary asked for these for his gap year program.
11. iPad and Cover – Gabbie ordered a new iPad. She had been using my very old one and was afraid of it crashing. She ordered this cover as well.
12. Gym Shorts – Dave needed more pairs of shorts for the bike trip.
13. Disney Bows Shirt – I’m not planning a Disney trip sadly, but I thought this shirt was really cute!
I still haven’t found the perfect pants for the boys for this year, although we bought some to try from Costco. And Zachary still needs another duffel bag!
