I let a lot of time pass since my last Three Things post! I also let a lot of time pass since my last blog post last week, being that I was offline for the first days of Sukkot and then had nothing to share yesterday. I’ll be off again for the last days of Sukkot this Thursday and Friday, so I wanted to make sure to post something today. I decided a Three Things Tuesday post was a good plan.
[Gabbie]
1. This past weekend, Gabbie was with my in-laws and Dave’s sister and family at their place in the Catskills. It sounded like she had a nice time there.
2. She is waiting for her absentee ballot so she can vote in her first Presidential election!
3. Semesters in college seem to go by quickly and she is over half way through her sophomore first semester.
[Zachary]
1. I had to send in pictures of Zachary for his page in the yearbook. He is picky and I didn’t have that many he approved of me including! Definitely not the one above.
2. Zachary has been accepted to the University of Kansas – his backup school, where he doesn’t actually plan to go but at least we know he got into college! He’ll be submitting more applications soon.
3. He definitely keeps busy – I feel like I don’t see him much as he is at school, at work, or at youth group type events most of the time!
[Simon]
1. I’m trying to take a step back from stressing about Simon completing his school work. When he didn’t complete the reading he needed to do to take a quiz, he was able to make it up because he was honest with his teacher. I hope he will stay on top of things now.
2. Dave lets Simon drive with him every week so he’s getting more practice than my other kids got at his young age. I still don’t let him drive with me though.
3. Simon is really tall, I think he might be taller than Dave now. But he still has the cutest little boy face.
