I am once again using the “loving” prompt to list some of the things that brought me joy over the past month!
– Gabbie was here in January and is now back to school for second semester.
– Watching football and the Chiefs making the Superbowl again.
– Meeting some new dogs that will stay with us soon.
– Cuddling with dogs while watching the Grammys.
– The kids hanging out with their friends.

One of the dogs I’m going to watch is a mini schnauzer and she was so cute when I met her! I grew up with a mini schnauzer and I think I will enjoy having her here. I also look forward to the next dog coming because it feels like we arranged it so long ago and she doesn’t come for another two weeks!

I definitely don’t consider myself romantic and don’t have any romantic plans this month! (It’s good we don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day because Dave will be away next week!

Things are changing at school. Zachary was supposed to go on a Jewish Heritage trip this year to Poland and Israel. Not enough of the families were comfortable with the Israel portion of the trip so they changed it to Poland, Spain, and Prague. Zachary wasn’t a fan of that change. And there weren’t enough kids for that trip either. I felt like the kids who weren’t going just weren’t going anyway! Also, the head of school is leaving. I wonder what changes that will bring over the next few years.

This month we celebrated an engagement, a bat mitzvah, a bar mitzvah, and the Chiefs!
