The first Wednesday of the month is the Currently link up and I’m once again linking up with Jennifer. This month’s prompt words are loving, hoping, playing, needing, and feeling. Here’s what I’m currently up to!
[loving]
I am once again using the “loving” prompt to list some of the things that brought me joy over the past month!
– Seeing Gabbie dance
– Great group competition results
– Celebrating Purim
– Lots of events for the kids to enjoy
– Talking with different friends
– Attending an author event
– Scheduling working out well
– Seeing our new living room taking shape
[hoping]
I am hoping the next few days go well. We are celebrating Passover starting tonight and due to the way the holiday falls, I will be offline for three days. I hope I don’t have too much to catch up on when I get back, because that is always overwhelming. I am hoping for good weather and good food and not too much anxiety!
[playing]
I play Candy Crush on my phone. I play it while I watch TV or listen to audio books. And when I’m waiting to pick up the kids.
[needing]
I need to put my books back on the shelves in the living room so I can share the after pictures of our renovation! I think it’s going to look really good once I get everything the way I want it.
[feeling]
I am mostly feeling better after having a cold last week. All of us got sick besides Dave. First Simon had some kind of stomach thing and missed two days of school. Then Zachary and I got the exact same cold. He didn’t have to miss school but it wasn’t very fun! Then Gabbie got a fever. She went to the doctor and it wasn’t strep, but she had to miss two more days of school. Luckily I found the right person at her school to mark her absences as excused – including for the days she’ll miss for Passover this week and next! (She had too many absences but the system is automatic, and this way I feel less stressed about it!)
Now tell me something you are currently doing!
