1. What is your earliest birthday memory?
Great question. I have memories of birthdays from the home videos and photos my parents took, so I’m not sure what is an actual memory and what isn’t! But a memory from an earlier birthday was when I turned 6. We played a game, the Wonder Ball, which is like hot potato. I insisted that I wasn’t the one who got out, but when we watched the home video, you could obviously see that I was. Oops.
2. What is your favorite birthday tradition?
The birthday celebrant chooses what we have for dinner and we get cake.
3. How do you like to celebrate birthdays?
It’s always nice to be acknowledged on your birthday. Facebook reminding everyone is helpful! We usually just celebrate as a family, at least recently!
4. What is the best birthday gift you ever received?
A bunch of years ago, Dave surprised me by booking a Disney cruise. Then he posted on my Facebook saying that I had the best husband who got me a Disney cruise for my birthday. It was a great surprise. We proceeded to surprise the kids on Hanukkah as well.
5. What is the best birthday gift you’ve ever given?
For Dave’s 40th birthday I got him 40 mini bottles of whiskey, which I think he liked.
6. If money was no object, what would be the very best way to celebrate your birthday?
In Disney World. I did get to celebrate mine there about 10 years ago.
7. What is your favorite birthday treat?
My friend always makes me chocolate peanut butter bars for my birthday, which I love.
8. How long do you celebrate your birthday?
I guess it depends what day of the week it falls on and what everyone else has going on. Sometimes I’ll celebrate it on more than one day.
9. What is the best thing about your birthday?
Feeling special.
10. What is your sign?
I’m a Scorpio! My birthday is actually on the 10th of next month, so this would have been an appropriate 10 on the 10th link up topic for November!
