While we were staying in Niagara Falls, we also visited Toronto. We decided to check out Toronto Island Park, which is a great place to view the Toronto skyline. You have to take a ferry to get there – my family loves taking boats it seems!
Views from the ferry:
The islands are truly parks, and full of green areas. The kids decided they wanted to rent bikes, and Dave and I rented a two person surrey (or quadracycle as the rental place called it).
The kids mostly rode in front of us but the boys kept taking off and circling back. We stopped for a cool view of the skyline.
Saw some baby geese and a swan.
That airplane looks close to the buildings but I don’t think it was!
Back to biking:
Looks like snow! But it was actually pollen or just tree seeds.
I’m not sure how I got Zachary to be in a picture!
We took the ferry back to the city.
We wanted to check out the area near the CN Tower. There was a train display out front which the boys enjoyed.
Oh look, it’s me.
This is outside the baseball stadium.
Saw some cool chalk art on our way back to the car.
From there, we headed to meet my blog friends which I shared about here!
Have you been to Toronto?
