I love going apple picking in the fall! We always try to go just before Rosh Hashanah, so we can use our apples for apple pie. Last year, we started making apple challah as well, which is so good! This year, just Simon came with us and we went to a new to us apple orchard in Weston, MO called Weston Orchard.
Aw look, Simon is tall.
We could pick Gala or Honeycrisp apples and mostly stuck with the Gala.
It tasted great right off the tree!
The cost to get in included a pretty cool playground, so Simon checked out the zip line too.
And another zip line.
And this structure seemed to be under construction so you couldn’t go inside, but it was too cute not to take a picture of!
We brought home lots of apples!
