While in the past we have done the Miami County Farm Tour in the spring, this year the spring tour was canceled, but we were able to visit a few of the farms on the fall list of farms.
Our first stop was at Sweet Streams Lavender, which had lavender products for sale and a bunch of ducks to watch.
Our next stop was the Casa Somerset B&B and Organic Farm. There was a farm market happening there and we could check out the B&B too. Simon was excited because he was gifted a big pumpkin.
We made a quick stop at the Somerset Ridge Vineyard and Winery because it was nearby. It was the most crowded of the stops and we didn’t stay long!
Our final stop was at Madd House Hill, which is a goat farm. We played with the goats for awhile and I only got one picture because we were too busy playing!
It was a cold day, but I was happy to visit the farms that can be found just south of us in Miami County KS!
