While we were in Atlanta, we decided to check out the Delta Flight Museum, located right next to the airport. It is actually located in Delta’s original 1940s hangars. The museum features exhibits and items from Delta’s history and about the future of flight. You can also do a Boeing 737 flight simulation for $425 if you are so inclined!
First, we checked out the historic plane section.
This was a small plane you could move a bit with the control.
We were able to go inside some of the planes.
There were history exhibits inside the planes as well.
There is a 747 outside the museum that you also can go inside. This is one of the first class seats.
We were trying to count all of the beverage carts but lost track!
You can see through to the bottom as well.
Supposedly you can walk on the wing, but really you are just next to it.
If you are interested in airplanes and have time in Atlanta, this would be the place to check out!
