View PostWhen we were in NJ for my nephew’s wedding, we had some time with which to entertain ourselves. My family wanted to do a bike ride along the Hudson, and even when I’m not recovering from injury I’m not that great at bike riding, so I knew I wouldn’t be participating. Instead, they dropped me off by the Met Museum Cloisters, which is a medieval focused art museum inside a castle like building. What I didn’t realize was that the art was pretty much religious focused, but it also featured gardens and a Unicorn room, which I enjoyed.
View PostHappy Monday! Today I’m sharing the things I accomplished in the second half of September. This is a series I started that reminds me that I actually do get things done even as a stay at home mom with kids in school.
View PostWelcome to my September 2024 Favorite Books post! This monthly post is where I share the 5 star books I’ve read so far each month. I had a few 5 star reads this month that I am excited to share. You can see the first half of my September reading here and I will share the rest next week. There are a few more days left this month so there is still a chance I will have additional 5 star reads, and if so, they will appear in next week’s post too. The Amazon links to the books I’ve read are affiliate links and if you use them and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission.
View PostThis past weekend, we traveled to NJ to celebrate our nephew’s wedding. He is the youngest of Dave’s sister and brother-in-law’s five kids. All of the cousins were there to celebrate him and his new wife!
