After we left Maine, we were planning to visit Mount Washington in NH. Sadly, the weather was not great and going up the mountain may have been a waste, so we changed our plan and stayed the night in Exeter, NH. Known to me as the hometown of author John Irving, we decided to walk to the Exeter boarding school before leaving town in the morning.

View PostToday I’m linking up with Marsha for the 10 on the 10th link up. If there ever was a perfect topic for me, it’s this one – my 10 favorite dogs! As you probably know, I love dogs. I’ve had two dogs that were my own, I fostered a few dogs, and now I dog sit. Not every dog is perfect and just about all the dogs I watch have some issue that makes them difficult in some way. The one I’m watching now is one of the more difficult ones I’ve watched! But here are some of the dogs I’ve loved!
View PostOn our second day in Maine, we spent time in Portland. We decided to take a trip on the mail boat that runs in Casco Bay carrying residents, mail, and more to the islands surrounding Portland. It also serves as a bit of a tour, as there is narration explaining the area as it goes. It wasn’t a very nice day outside, but it was a fun experience!
