Today is Dave’s birthday and because the kids didn’t feel like doing another round of “how well do you know your father?” I decided to steal an idea from Natasha’s husband (also named Dave) and tell you all about Dave with bits of trivia. Natasha’s Dave organized the post he wrote using Trivial Pursuit categories and since that is a game we like to play, I loved that idea, so I’m doing the same!

View PostDave’s grandmother was originally from Poland and was lucky enough to leave the country before World War II. Others in her family were not as lucky and her brothers were actually still there during the war. Dave’s mother wanted to see where her mother lived and the family planed a trip to Poland. They scheduled it for a week where I could not go too, but Dave booked his ticket. When Dave’s father decided they shouldn’t make the trip (due to the situation in Ukraine), most of the family backed out, leaving Dave and one of our nephews the only two willing to go. View PostThis past Sunday was Gabbie’s dance recital. Like we have done the past two years, the shows were divided by level, so our show was only for the level 3 and 4 dancers. There were 12 dances plus 3 senior solos. Gabbie was in 6 of the dances. When I chose our reserved seats I tried to be far enough away to be able to capture the whole stage on my camera, but of course there were people in front of me, so please excuse the big head in the way of some of these!
