It’s already the last day of September, so it’s a perfect time to look back on this month.
[Daily Life]
We went back to having only one kid at home after Gabbie headed back to school.
My parenting load got even lighter with Simon driving himself to and from school! Meanwhile, I spent time worrying about Zachary and his readjustment to his program in Israel. Luckily, he looks happy in the photos I’ve received from his friends’ mom and our family! Plus, he got together with a bunch of Kansas kids with a family who lived here for two years and is now back in Israel.
As for me, I’ve been going to the gym, substituting at preschool, and watching dogs.

This month I watched Lucy and Sophie, plus I walked Riggs and played with Henry for a few days each.
[Events]
I attended a few things this month including a dinner for an organization my friend is involved in and Jodi Picoult’s author event! I hung around afterwards to get my one second with her along with this photo.
[Holidays]
We have celebrated Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and half of Sukkot. This weekend is the last two days of Sukkot.
[Coming Up]
Dave is heading to NJ to be there for his parents who are having health issues now. After that, we are both visiting Gabbie at school while Simon goes to a youth group weekend.
