We are coming up on the end of August, so it’s time to look back on the month. I realized this may be repetitive from my Summer in Review post! But here’s a look back at August.
[Daily Life]
All 5 of us were at home! Plus, for the first week of the month, we had an additional two teens from San Diego staying with us. Everyone was pretty busy, but we did get to spend some time as a family.
[Dogs]
We watched dogs this month including Squeeky, Blue, Riggs, and Ozzie.
[Milestones]
Simon turned 16 and got his driver’s license, and started 11th grade. Zachary headed back to Israel.
[School]
This year, Simon is taking Talmud, Mishna, AP English Language, U.S. History, Physics, Applied College Math, Hebrew, and he has a study hall, but hopefully he will be doing an independent study for P.E. He is also still doing the website for the school newspaper, although he couldn’t fit Publications into his schedule.
[TV Shows]
I used to share TV shows I’ve watched in these posts, but haven’t lately! This summer I watched the new Little House on the Prairie, the new season of Criminal Minds, Lucky, and I’m now watching the new season of Lioness. I have some other shows on my list to check out as well.
[Coming Up]
Gabbie is still home for another week, so we’re spending some time together. Next up are the fall holidays!
