1. I saw a meme on Instagram that went like this-‘The movie Dirty Dancing came out in 1987 and was set in 1963, so if remade in 2026 it would be set in 2002. Now I need a little lie down in a dark room for a while.”
Time is crazy isn’t it? So…what were you up to in the year 2002?
Yes, time is crazy! Let’s see. In 2002, I graduated with a Master’s in Social Work and started working with foster kids. I lived in a one bedroom apartment on the 8th floor of a building. Dave and I had been married for a year as of the end of 2001.
2. “Me? I’m scared of everything…” What’s something that scares you that you’d like to try anyway?
I don’t often want to try things that scare me! But things that come to mind are zip lining and a hot air balloon ride.

I like watermelon and it is my favorite of the melons. I would eat any of the foods listed!
4. August 12th is National Middle Child Day. Are you a middle child? If not, where do you fall in the birth order in your family of origin? Do you think this has influenced your personality? Elaborate.
I am not a middle child. I’m the oldest of two, so we don’t have a middle child in our sibling group! Zachary is my middle child and I think he acts like a typical middle child a lot of the time.
5. Would you rather talk to everyone at a crowded party for a short time, or have a significant conversation with two people? Explain.
Well, I find it harder to talk in a crowded room because of hearing and making myself heard, so I guess I’ll say a significant conversation with two people is my choice.

I mentioned last week that we hosted kids for the JCC Maccabi Games. We had a fun time with our host kids. We went to the Royals game with them. and one of our kids got on the big screen. Plus, it was a Royals win! I haven’t been to a game the Royals won in so long!
This gave us a taste of what it would have been like to have five kids instead of three!
