Summer is officially over here now that today is my boys’ first day of school, so I thought I’d wrap up our summer in review today. It was a long but not all that eventful summer for me, but I think my kids enjoyed it!
May
School ended, Gabbie had dance camp, Gabbie and Zachary went on their youth group trip.
June
Three of us had Covid. Zachary started work. Zachary turned 15. We traveled to Canada and NJ and celebrated my in-laws’ 80th birthdays. We visited NYU and Pace. Gabbie left for her trip and the rest of us flew back home.
July
Zachary worked. We went to the pool a few times. Dave traveled for work. Simon did a week of day camp. Dave flew to NY and met Gabbie after her trip and they visited UMass. Simon left for sleepaway camp.
August
Gabbie had band camp, but it was canceled due to a lot of sickness. Simon came back from camp. Zachary finished work. Gabbie started school. Simon turned 12. We are dog sitting our friends’ dog.
So you can see that most of us did some exciting things this summer. I’m ready to get back into the routine of school now!
