I almost skipped over the Flashback Feature this week because I couldn’t find anything that I hadn’t yet shared! I am planning to retire the feature after I’ve been doing it for a year, since I usually feature things that happened in the past based on the time of year, meaning that after a year of the feature, most things will have been covered. When I looked at the pictures saved on my computer, I had already shared everything that happened in the past in August! Then I remembered that I have pictures saved elsewhere. I realized that this very week in 2006, Dave, Gabbie, and I were on a wonderful California vacation. At the time, Gabbie was almost 17 months old and just barely starting to walk.
We flew into San Francisco. I was a little bit obsessed with Alcatraz.

We obviously went to Disneyland. It was Gabbie’s first Disney experience. We met my good friend there and she took these pictures.

I would love to do this trip again. California is a beautiful state! I also want to travel north of San Francisco, as I’ve only been south. Have you ever done the Pacific Coast Highway?
