1. Summer officially begins this week (in the northern hemisphere)…what was your favorite thing to do in the summer when you were a kid? What do you like most about summer now?
When I was a kid I attended a day camp which I loved. I looked forward all year to going to camp. Now, my favorite thing about summer is not having to worry about anyone’s school work.
2. Something you’ll celebrate this summer?
Our summer is bookended by the boys’ birthdays with Zachary’s being in June and Simon’s being in August.
3. Summer tastes like? Smells like? Sounds like?
Summer tastes like burgers and hot dogs. It smells like sunscreen.
4. June 18th is National Splurge Day…what’s the last thing you splurged on? What might you splurge on today?
I splurged by getting myself new sneakers and a new Apple Watch recently. Today maybe I’ll get a souvenir as I’m on vacation!
