[savoring]
I’m savoring these few weeks with all three of my kids at home. Zachary is leaving in a week and a half, so we have to make the most of him being here! I took this photo of all of us, and I look a little crazy, but at least everyone else looks good!

This week, we had the JCC Maccabi Games here in KC. This is an Olympic style sporting event for Jewish kids from all over. The local families are hosts to visiting kids and we hosted two kids from San Diego. The games end tomorrow, so we are sort of wrapping up the week now! Here are some photos from the opening ceremony:
Zachary was there too but he was working behind the scenes and met us after this photo!

I am still preparing all of Zachary’s paperwork for his program in Israel. If you ever need to get a criminal background check apostiled, be aware it takes a long time for them to return it!

I’m trying to remember not to nag Simon about reading for his summer homework. It’s not easy for me!

I guess I need to organize the things in my random piles of junk. And Simon’s backpack for school, unless I can get him to do that himself!
