The first Wednesday of the month is the Currently link up and I’m once again linking up with Jennifer. This month’s prompt words are loving, looking forward to, wearing, reading, and cooking.
[loving]
This month I loved attending my nephew’s wedding and seeing all of our family members – all of my nieces and nephews (on that side) and most of my great-nieces and nephews! I also loved seeing our friends who live in the same area.
I’ve loved watching the Chiefs pull ahead at 4-0 for the beginning of the season. I don’t love that one of my favorites, Isaiah Pacheco, broke his ankle and is out for 6 weeks. I can commiserate with him.
I loved watching the dogs Charlie and Joy – who was super cute but only stayed for half a day. It’s weird that doggy day care costs the same amount for my customers, no matter how long of a day they stay!
[looking forward to]
Speaking of dogs, I have two new clients this month – one this weekend and one in two weeks. It makes me happy that people ask me to watch their dogs. These are people I know, since I’m still not accepting new dogs for overnights via Rover.
Also, all of October will be filled with holidays for us. Starting tonight with Rosh Hashanah. I’m looking forward to some things about the holidays. It does get stressful and overwhelming too though!
[wearing]
As I seem to do in the fall, I’ve been purchasing some new clothes for me. I have worn wider leg jeans for the first time and a brown t-shirt for the first time – I usually stick with black for neutrals! I’ll share some of my new things on Monday – I think that post is going to be quite long!
[reading]
September was a normal reading month for me, except that for a whole month I didn’t read any rom coms?! That’s not normal for me. I have a whole pile set to read in October – I see at least one rom com in the pile, but I guess I haven’t put many on my list lately! The rest of my September reading will be posted next week due to Rosh Hashanah.
[cooking]
I usually have no answer for a cooking prompt, but I do have a list of things I’ll be cooking today for Rosh Hashanah! A chicken sheet pan dish I make every year, apple challah, couscous, salads, etc. Wish me luck.
Now tell me something you are currently doing!
