Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I’m joining in for Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce.
1. The Olympics kick off this coming weekend. Will you be watching? If you could watch just one event in person, which one would you choose?
I’m so excited! I will definitely be watching. I would choose gymnastics for sure.
2. Have you ever been to Paris? Is this a city you’d like to visit? What’s your favorite ‘French thing’?
I have not been to Paris, although I did just land in and leave from Paris on my way to Israel! I don’t count that though. I would like to visit one day. My favorite French thing is Le Petit Prince.
3. Macaron, creme brulee, chocolate soufle, mille feuille, or an eclair…your favorite French patisserie from the ones listed?
Oh wow, I haven’t had most of these…I guess I’ll say creme brulee!
4. July 24th is National Cousins Day…do you have many cousins? Are you close to them? Will you see any of your cousins on July 24th?
I don’t have many cousins at all. I have three first cousins. I wouldn’t say we are close, although when I do see two of them, we are friends. The other one I haven’t seen in years. My kids are lucky because they have many first cousins and they get along great! Here’s a recent picture of Zachary and his cousin.
5. Last time you went somewhere that felt like ‘everyone and his cousin‘ was there?
It’s been a while since I’ve been somewhere like that!
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Broken ankle update – I got my cast off and now I have a removable boot cast. I’m supposed to be able to start walking with it but I really need to start PT. Going back to using crutches to walk after getting used to the knee scooter seems hard to me too! Not a surprise, but it does still hurt too.
Tell me your answer to any of these!
