I’m back with another update about each of the kids in three points per person!
[Gabbie]
1. Gabbie is working this summer as the camp photographer and sometimes a counselor at the camp at the Jewish Community Center.
2. She moves back to school at the end of August and Dave and I are going to go with her for move in again.
3. She and I are going to see The Little Mermaid stage show tomorrow!
[Zachary]
1. Zachary is also working at the J Camp this summer and last week he was junior counselor of the week!
2. He wanted to take a class to help him improve his SAT score, but since more kids here take the ACT and one of his teachers is giving an ACT class soon, he decided to do that class and take the ACT in September. Hopefully he will score well on it because college application time is coming!
3. Zachary has been really helpful doing the food shopping for me since I can’t drive!
[Simon]
1. Simon was recruited to volunteer at the school cafe this summer. He’s been helping out there 4 days a week for 3 hours each day and earning lots of volunteer hours for high school!
2. He’s also done a few jobs including cat watching and plant watering.
3. I need to take him for a follow up xray for his scoliosis but I still can’t drive – ugh!
