For today’s Random Friday Things post I just have a few updates to share from around here. I still feel like not much is going on, even though I also feel busy all the time!

I’ve been keeping busy with dog sitting and dog walking. My friend had a baby and she asked me if I wanted to take over a few of her dog walking clients. I thought I was going to give them back to her when she was ready, but now she is starting a full time job, so she’s not sure she’ll be able to! Most weeks I walk two dogs together on Mondays and Tuesdays and one dog by herself on Wednesdays and Fridays. All three are very cute.
As far as dog sitting, these guys were with us for two weeks this month and they’ll be back for a long weekend next week!
Ozzie found this stuffed animal in the basement, brought it upstairs, and took a nap with it.
Duncan is part rat terrier and I thought he looked quite rat like in this position! We were watching the Chiefs game!

I mentioned a few times that Zachary got his license! He is now driving himself and Simon to school. It’s strange! And also pretty helpful. Luckily we have a car for him to use since Gabbie did not take one to school with her!
It is rare to get a big smile on a picture of Zachary!

Both of my boys are hard on their shoes, and Simon was complaining that the inside of his was coming apart. He heard that one of our friends from our synagogue has a store that he sells shoes at good prices, so we headed over there and he picked out a pair of On Clouds. The man working at the store was not our friend, but we said we knew him, so he gave us an additional discount. This is the picture I sent to our friend:

Dave and the boys went to a Sporting KC (soccer) game this week with some friends. One of Simon’s friends took this adorable picture of him:

Gabbie is doing well at school and we talk to her every day. She seems happy! We decided that after we meet her for Thanksgiving in NJ, we’ll drive her back up to school and that way the boys will get to see the campus too. I hope it’s still fall in the area by then – it’s supposed to be really beautiful with the leaves!
Have a great weekend!
