For today’s Random Friday Things post I have some pictures to share including from things with friends, dogs, and an author event.

This is the cutest friendship – my friend’s seven year old daughter dances with Gabbie and came to see her dance at a basketball game. She was dancing along in the stands and couldn’t wait to say hi afterwards!
And here they are on Purim:

Gabbie also went away overnight this week with two friends (and one mom). They went to Lincoln, NE to see the Alvin Ailey dance show. I thought this picture of them before the show was really cute.

When the kids and Dave were in St. Louis, they mostly sent me pictures and videos of them in the Tesla they rented while they were charging it. Gabbie sent me this picture:
So a few days later, I sent her this one from a brewery:
Simon sent me this picture, which was the one picture I saw from the college they visited!

Meanwhile, I was at home hanging out with Boba, formerly known as Sophie! She was our foster dog a year ago and now we got to dog sit for a few days. She was great – her adopters got really lucky!

This week I got to attend an author event! So few authors come to Kansas City. Jean Meltzer is the author of The Matzah Ball and Mr. Perfect on Paper. She was very funny and the interview was fun to listen to. Afterwards, I got her to sign my book and she was really willing to get to know each person who was there. We talked about how my name is the same as her main character’s name in Mr. Perfect on Paper (but she pronounces it wrong) and I told her how my Jewish group on Instagram always speaks highly of her. I had fun!
Have a great weekend!
