I’ve been wanting to go back to the New York Botanical Gardens for years. We used to take the kids when they were young but it hasn’t fit into our NJ / NY area visiting schedule for a while! This time we decided to go, even though it was pretty cold outside. We spent more of our time inside the Holiday Train exhibit, in which classic NYC architecture is created out of plants, complete with trains passing by.
View PostBecause we were all in NJ for Thanksgiving, we held my in-laws’ 60th anniversary party that weekend as well. (Their actual anniversary is December 26th). I am currently reminiscing about their 50th anniversary party 10 years ago! At that time, their first great-grandchild was born, and he is now almost 10. Plus, they have many more great-grandchildren that were there to celebrate with them!
