View PostI’ve seen a few of my blog friends participate in Wednesday Hodgepodge Questions via Joyce at From This Side of the Pond. I didn’t have much to share this week (almost went three days with no post at all!) so I decided to participate in the Hodgepodge Questions this week.
View PostToday I’m joining That Artsy Reader Girl for Top Ten Tuesday, which this week is any topic having to do with love. I noticed that a few of my recent reads and upcoming reads have “love” in their titles, and thought it would be fun to share them here.
View PostToday’s post covers the second half of the books I read in January 2022. I shared the first half of the books I read here. My top books of the month can be found here. I will be linking up this post with the Show Us Your Books Link Up, and the Amazon links to the books I’ve read are affiliate links and if you use them and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission. If you’ve read any of these books or are interested in them, I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
View PostIt was about two years ago when I was downtown to celebrate the Chiefs going to the Superbowl and I saw a sign announcing that Elton John was coming to Kansas City. Being the procrastinator I am, I didn’t order tickets, and as it turns out, that July 2020 concert was postponed. I once again saw news about the show a few months ago and looked at tickets which were for some reason listed at $500 each! So I didn’t figure I’d be seeing him in concert. But on Tuesday, the day of the show, we scored a pair of tickets for around $80 each! I love that I got to see him in concert and I didn’t need to spend over a year anticipating the show.
